Adina Thorn is acting for an owner whose land is being sought for compulsory acquisition by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council under the Public Works Act. The Council project is designed to rehabilitate the Maketu Estuary by turning half of the property in to tidal mudflats. The property has been family owned for 65 years.
